Child Safety Standards

Naseeby has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. This page sets out our standards and how to report concerns.

Naseeby has a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Naseeby is a strictly adults-only platform for Muslims seeking marriage. Any attempt to use the platform to harm a child, or to produce, share, or solicit CSAM, results in immediate removal and is reported to the relevant authorities.

1.  Our standards against CSAE

Naseeby is committed to preventing child sexual abuse and exploitation on our platform. Our standards prohibit, without exception:

  • Any use of the platform by, or the creation of any profile representing, a person under 18
  • The production, possession, sharing, solicitation, or promotion of child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
  • Grooming, sexual solicitation, or any sexualised contact directed at a minor
  • Trafficking, sextortion, or the sexual exploitation of a child in any form
  • Any content, text, or imagery that sexualises a minor

Violation of these standards results in immediate account termination, preservation of evidence, and reporting to law enforcement and the relevant child-protection authorities.

2.  A strictly adults-only platform

The single most important child-safety measure on Naseeby is that the platform is for adults only. Minors are not permitted to use Naseeby under any circumstances.

  • Naseeby is strictly for users aged 18 and over
  • Age is verified at registration via date of birth, and eligibility is enforced before an account can be completed
  • Anyone found to be under 18 is immediately blocked from completing registration
  • We do not knowingly collect any information from a person under 18. If we learn that a user is a minor, their account is removed.

3.  How we prevent and detect abuse

Alongside our adults-only requirement, we maintain the following safeguards:

  • Identity and eligibility checks — email and SMS verification, wali confirmation for female profiles, and an optional character reference
  • Content moderation — profile text is screened for prohibited content, and profiles can be flagged for human review
  • Photo controls — photos are stored privately and, for female profiles, blurred by default; they are never exposed through public URLs
  • In-app reporting and blocking tools available on every profile
  • Pattern analysis — repeated concern reports against an account trigger an automatic review
  • An audit trail of sensitive actions to support investigation and reporting

4.  How to report a child-safety concern

Report in-app

Any user can report a child-safety concern directly inside the app. Open the profile in question, tap the flag icon at the top of the screen, choose the reason that fits best, add any detail you can, and optionally attach screenshots. Reports are confidential — the reported person is never told who reported them — and our team reviews every report.

Report by email

You can also report a concern, or contact our designated child-safety point of contact, by email at any time:

Child-safety point of contact: aniss@layersflow.com.au

General safety team: team@naseeby.app

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first (in Australia, dial 000).

5.  Compliance and reporting to authorities

Naseeby complies with all relevant child-safety laws. Where we identify credible child-safety concerns or apparent CSAM, we preserve the relevant evidence and report to regional and national authorities and law enforcement, including:

Australian Centre to Counter Child Exploitation (ACCCE)

The national body for reporting online child sexual exploitation in Australia.

eSafety Commissioner

Australia's independent regulator for online safety, including child sexual abuse material.
